The key is to treat this business like a business.
Spend daily time on promoting and generating leads.
Spend daily time communicating with your leads.
Be sure to actually set up and use the tools.
Believe me when I say ... Three Is Easy!
I know some will tell you that it is not. But my experience there has been that the key to success is to be focused and consistent.
In just plain old fashioned "straight-talk", I find that when someone tells me things like, "I can't get any referrals", I look at their back office and I can see that they haven't done ANYTHING that I've been teaching them to do.
They haven't set up their tools.
They aren't running ads.
They haven't set up a blog.
They haven't joined any of the social networks I recommend.
They haven't contacted their associates and peers.
They haven't set up a banner ad.
But when I contact our top producers and I ask if they wouldn't mind sharing their "secrets" to how they are earning the income (as a way to inspire some others), they typically say, "I don't know what to tell you, Brian. I just did the stuff you said to do in the training articles and it just works.".
So ... I realize that's a long answer. But the reality is that Three IS Easy.
